Bible Study- The Gospel According to Luke EP 10 Chpt 4: 31-44

My name is Ryan and I am a Bible Nerd. Today we finish Chapter 4 of Luke's Gospel verses 31-44. Here we see Jesus expel evil spirits and demons.  He also heals Simon/Peter's Mother in Law along with any that were sick with various diseases (vs 40)

Bible Study- The Gospel According to Luke EP 09 Chpt 4: 14-30

My name is Ryan and I am a Bible Nerd! We continue in Luke's Gospel in Chpt 4 verses 14-30.  In this section, Jesus is reading from the scroll of Isaiah in the synagogue.  Jesus is reading what we call Chapter 61.

This will help you understand what an incredible statement Jesus says in verse 21 that the passage of scripture is fulfilled.  Their first response is questioning who Jesus is, as they have known him since birth.

Bible Study- The Gospel According to Luke EP 07 Chpt 3

My name is Ryan and I am a Bible Nerd.  Today's episode we dive into Luke Chapter 3. In this chapter, we meet John the Baptist while he is baptizing and calling people to repentance.  I love this story of how he is turning the hearts and minds back to God.  He could have elevated himself and yet we hear again and again when these stories are told that he was humble and acknowledged that the one coming after him was greater than him!  Then we have the Him come on the scene (Jesus) and get baptized.  This is a moment when the God Head is all together in the Father, Son and Holy Spirit and the great declaration is laid down; You are My beloved Son; in You I am well pleased.  Join me as we read together.  Thanks for being here! Bible Study The Gospel According to Luke Ep 06 Chpt 2: 25-52

My name is Ryan and I am a Bible Nerd.  Today's episode we dive into Luke Chapter 2, verses 25-52.  After the birth of Jesus, He is presented to the priest as part of the laws of Moses.  While in the temple courts, the family meets a man named Simeon and a prophetess named Anna.  They recognize the Lord's messiah even at the young age of 40 days old.  Then at age 12 during the Passover we find Jesus staying behind without his family knowing and after 3 days of search they find Jesus in his Father's House.  Great story so join me as we read together.  Thanks for being here!
